Basic Kayaking in Singapore Mangroves for beginners

Snapshot
A leisurely paddle into one of the last riverine mangrove on our shores. If you have never paddled before, this trip would be a good introduction. The kayakers will learn about the Giant Fig, snails, rubik cubes, lobsters, and why there are plenty of babies in the mangrove. Be inspired by the "beauty and brains" of this riverine system.

This paddle is suitable for beginners, and the kayaks are comfortable "tourist" double-seater sit-on-top type.

Available : Group kayaking on 31 Aug 2013
What You Will Do
- Meet at pre-designated kayak launch point
- Basic kayak skills & safety briefing
- Simple practice of paddling on water
- Kayak to start of mangroves
- Enjoy close proximity to life in the mangroves
- Paddle back to start point and get wash up at the beach toilet

As usual, this will be fully supported & led by our regular Master Kayak expert, Huey of Kayak Asia.
Why We Do This
Most foreigners or even the locals only know Singapore as a well-developed concrete jungle. And that there is practically no nature to appreciate in this crowded jam-packed island.

Thru this mangroves kayaking - seeing Singapore very own natural habitat from its rivers, I want to present the nature beauties this little island still has.
